JIS L 1055 Curtain Light Transmitting Rate Testing Instrument Tent Shading Tester Device

Instroduction

This instrument is a device for evaluating the shading property of the fabric as specified in JIS L 1055. Method A involves using an iodine-tungsten lamp/halogen lamp (100V, 500W) as the light source to vertically illuminate the sample, and then using a photometer to measure the luminous intensity (LUX) of the light that passes through the sample. Method B involves using an incandescent lamp (300W or 500W) as the light source to horizontally illuminate the sample, and then using a photometer to measure the brightness (cd/㎡) of the light that passes through the sample. Originally, it was developed for the purpose of developing a test machine for evaluating the shading property of fabrics, but now it is widely used to test the shading performance of shading films, shading glass, non-woven fabrics, paper, etc.

Instrument Characteristics

The LE-1 type (Method A) and LE-1 type (Method B) can also be irradiated simultaneously in a stable manner. Thus, whether the sample is subjected to vertical or horizontal irradiation becomes an easy matter to resolve.

Apart from the lamp tube part and the testing part (photometer or luminance meter), all metal-made items will not deform due to heat and will not change over time.
